Appalling service, just walked in , 4 staff behind the counter, 1 couple getting served, the rest of ' team' ignored me. Not one member looked over to acknowledge me ,too busy clearing up 35 mins before closing to look after customers or acknowledge any. After one of the couple was served the 'the team' member then started clearing away trays, althought the second person was looking for something else. Needless to say I walked out without any purchase.
Lot of good options to choose from. Seating area at the 1st floor and in the ground floor its take away. The menu looks different upstairs and also people are not friendly. Coffee served was really bad for the money paid & it was just from a coffee machine directly. Food was average. This is a place good for take away which costs you less and better options to choose from. The people below were friendly as well.
Used to like this little cafe upstairs but after today I won't be eating in there again. Both my sister and I ordered jacket potatoes for lunch I had tuna my sister had bacon and brie both jackets were sent back to be reheated as was cold like been in the fridge then still wasn't satisfactory when returned so we left them. So sad it's gone downhill
Great food ,excellent, friendly staff. Well worth a visit.Already recommended the one at Winchester.
As per the note below. Never trust a review on someone who can't spell potato. Considering their surname is mash..........I have been a local for many years and have always had consistently good quality food and service.
