Terrible service, poor standard of treatment and dubious hygiene standards made for a very unpleasant experience but I wonder if this is just that particular beautician since I had a reasonable experience on another occasion. The bad experience was as follows: The beautician did not say hello or ask me how I was, simply confirmed my name and told me where to go. The room had not been prepared and the paper towels on the bed were dirty - there was mud on the bottom towel which was ripped. The beautician had a filthy cardigan on that was covered in hairs, bits, fluff and her hair did not look clean. She was rough with the treatment (compared with the other beautician who was careful and gentle) and when I mentioned that she was hurting me, she told me I had to put up with it because this was part and parcel of the treatment. I had paid for a 15 minute treatment but after 2 minutes she said she'd finished. I asked her to continue as I was not satisfied with the standard and it was clear she was not happy to do this, so she continued with attitude. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable - I left with the impression that she did not want to be at work that day and that I was an inconvenience to her. The overall standard of her treatment was nowhere near as good as my first visit with a different beautician. It's a shame because the salon is very nice, in an old building with high ceilings. The downside is that the rooms are not in the least bit private and every conversation can be overheard by people in the next rooms and in the waiting area. I would give the first beautician 4 stars, the second 0 stars and the clinic 2 1/2 stars (because of the lack of privacy), so overall 2 stars.

Left with satisfying eyebrows. But realised later on that I still had wax remnants on my face which was difficult to get off. The lady waxed over one bit of my skin repeatedly and resulted in a rose red rash.
