Awesome, amazing , wonderful words not enough to explain its impact on me. Its definitely worth visiting and learning about the history of Great Britain. Also if wondering about her, Jane Austin's grave is inside it. You can visit and learn more about The Lady Finally, its architecture is just amazing, the combination of different structures and the scenes from history and their impact is huge.

Fantastic cathedral. We happened to visit on a Sunday so had to fit our visit around the services. On the upside we were accompanied on our visit by organ music, the low notes felt like the ground was moving. There is a small gift shop but it was closed for us. If you are looking for a place for a spot of quiet contemplation there is a place set aside away from the tourists. Well worth a visit.

Very welcoming place, with a lot of history. Plenty of tours and guides to explain the many tails, sights and areas of interest that help bring the Cathedral to life. Really needs a day to appreciate the whole thing.

Visited a cathedral on my 4 days long weekend travelling in the area. Easy to find from the High street and there are some car parks in the city, the closest is behind the cathedral, Colebrook street car park, that was my choice. There is a small park in the front with a statue and benches. The cathedral is huge, there is a fee to entry, and inside we can take pictures as many as we want, except in a small exhibition. Its history goes back to the 600's years which is really amazing, and then the cathedral was growing with the centuries and new bishops. The nowadays structure, architecture, decorations, windows, statues are simply stunning. It has a tower tour which is available on different days and times. Unfortunately I just missed it on the day when I visited. But I am pretty sure it well worth to join this tour and that the view could be fascinating. Also I couldn't enter to the crypt, as only a few people can be downstairs in a time, and though I waited for 10-15 minutes for a group to come out but in the same time another elderly bus-tour group was waiting and I did not want any of them wait longer because of me, so I decided to let them go together and miss the crypt tour. Anyway, the thing I heard and saw about it that we can not go around the crypt, just enter to the hall at a barrier and listen to the tour guide who tells us the history. The shop/cafe/toilets are not in the cathedral, but when we come out, just in the front we find them in a separate building. Definitely well worth to visit and a must-to-see in Winchester.

Went to the Christmas market it was really good, loads to see and buy. Ideal for anyone who likes different things not the same things you see in shops everyday and being Christmas all the different foods and drinks. Would recommend to anyone who likes different not the same everyday things you get in shops.
