I would not give this COWBOY FURNITURE STORE A STAR, not if I had anything to do with it, They deserve no STAR!! Only Google forces you to give a Star to upload this comment. On the 02/11/18, I had the greatest misfortune to order with Pine & Oak furniture Ltd based in Unit 3 Easton Lane, SO23 7RU, Winnall Winchester. What I thought would be a made to measure TV unit, in their Steady Arbour Oak range. I chose the Steady Arbour Oak range because of it's appearance of steadiness. I listed out my specifications of what I required and also specified that the unit be delivered on or before the 19/12/18. I was assured by Mark the sells person in the Winchester branch that this would be done, and he even made this note on the invoice(WCH:10908). I was informed I had to pay 599.00 in advance, which I thought was daylight robbery to be forced to pay the full amount of a product that you haven't even seen. On the 17/12/18, I sent an email, and requested confirmation of delivery time for the 19/12/18, because this was what the friendly sells person(Mark) had assured me would happen. None of the people at Pine, had the decency to bother to contact me first, prior to the 17/12/18 to inform me that they would not be able to keep their promise of the 19/12/18 delivery. The fact of the matter is that they couldn't care less, what inconveniences, they were causing me they had my money, and they did as they pleased. This sells person called Lauren, responded and informed me that this unit was not ready. And yet a company, that has a good customer service, would have contacted me earlier in December, and informed me that they would not be able to deliver on the promised deadline. But because this is a Cowboy Furniture Company that appears to do nothing but highway robbery of their customers, doesn't care about their customers...or shall I say especially if the customer is of African descent. I am sure if I was not an African, I might have received a top of the class customer service and had my unit finished and delivered on the said date.On the 03/01/19, I then finally receive this godforsaken TV unit, and it was most disappointingly not TO MY MADE TO MEASURE SPECIFICATIONS!! IT DIDN'T APPEAR CHUNKY LIKE THE ARBOUR OAK THAT I ORDERED. IT was delivered by two men who right from the start their mannerisms were at best rude and aggressive and confrontational. Their attitude as stated by this man who calls himself Tom, was that I was wasting his PRECIOUS TIME!! As you can see from the pictures, the half moon cuts on the shelving, indicate that they should be a hole in the unit, and yet as you can see there is no plug hole in the unit, next to the cut half moon shapes on the shelf's. The only Hole that This Aggressive delivery man called Tom, kept stating that it was there, was right at the bottom of the unit, far away from the half moon shaped cuts on the shelves....THE SO CALLED MADE TO ORDER UNIT...GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT, AS IT WAS MORE MADE TO MEASURE WHAT THE PINE & OAK COWBOYS SPECIFICATIONS WERE, CERTAINLY NOT MINE!! I inform this Tom, who insisted on talking over me and giving me his opinion about the unit, and simply didn't give a RATS ARSE about my opinion...AS THE CUSTOMER WHO SPENT 599, AND HAD TO WAIT OVER TWO MONTHS FOR THE DELIVERY!! SIMPLY HAD NO SAY IN TOM'S OPINION. Tom stands there high and mighty informing me that he was not going to lift the TV on to the unit, giving me some nonsense excuse about insurance. And yet the other man disconnects my DVD unit, WITHOUT REQUESTING ANY PERMISSION FROM ME TO DISCONNECT. When asked why he touched my property, after clearly stating that they were not allowed to touch my property he gave me the pathetic excuse that the DVD unit was smaller than the TV. As you can see from this picture he then proceeds to leave my DVD unit disconnected, he has no decency or respect for my property to leave it as found. I would never not in a million years, even if this was the last furniture store left in the world...I would NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE NOT EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY....!!!
