I have always been terrified at the thought of going to a class on my own through fear of looking silly or being judged. At the end of last year I decided I wanted to do something just for me, something that would not only help me physically but mentally. I looked at classes offered and found one I had an interest in. Then came the scary bit...booking in!!! But from that first phone call I was instantly put at ease, Sam was so kind and understanding of my fears and patiently let me ramble on (which I tend to do when nervous). When I arrived for the first time she showed me around and introduced me to people. I went to my first class with Abby who was just as nice and nothing like the scary instructor I had built up in my head. There was no judgement at all, Just friendly passionate staff wanting to see people get the best out of themselves. Everyone I have met at New Energy have been the opposite of my fears and I actually look forward and love to going every week. I used to have regular physio for painful joint hypermobilty and have seen an improvement since starting at new energy. The strength excercise have helped and I am in less pain in my everyday life. I cannot thank the team there enough for the care and support, they are amazing
I've been a member at this amazing gym for over two years. Since joining, everything in my life has changed. I'm now able to blast a class and have met so many new friends that I socialise with out of lycra. New Energy is my second home. Such a mix of amusing characters - all ages, all walks of life. That's what makes it so special!
When you join this gym, it is like you are joining a very loving, caring, smiley, happy family, who all actually do care for you, for your goals, and always trying to help you get to where you want to get to fitness wise. It is a beautiful building, it does not feel like a corporate establishment who only care for memberships. And, classes are the best part, if you really want to get fit, meet some of the nicest people, staff or members, this is the gym.
New Energy Fitness bought a whole new life out in me through it's excellent facility and most importantly it's superb friendly and professional staff. Each and every member of staff is passionate and put their full dedication into the gym and it's customers. I have been made to feel at home and having Rocky as my personal trainer has completely changed my life.On top of the quality staff and facilities, the other members at the gym are friendly and always up for helping each other out. It is a tight-knit community that look out for each other and I personally have never left the gym without a smile on my face.I couldn't imagine joining another gym - this is the place to be.
After having my second child in November, I was really keen to get back into shape but wasn't convinced the gym route was for me. However, after joining New Energy in February of this year, I haven't looked back! Unlike many other gyms I've been a member of over the years, it's really friendly with lovely staff who know you by name and not a hint of pretentiousness. I signed up with one of the Personal Trainers, Rocky Penny, and have achieved goals and results I never thought I would. The classes are great too and the relaxed atmosphere makes it an enjoyable experience - again, something I never thought I'd say!
