Enjoyed staying on this site and they pitched us on a disabled pitch near the facilities which was great. One of the wardens could have been friendlier and at least smiled. Lovely area and lots to do.
Clean with good facilities. Friendly staff all add up to a pleasant site to stay. Recommended.
Lovely welcome, asked not to be put by trees a very windy night hurricane callum and satalight tv, it was dark and put by trees, we're only staying two nights just leave it, getting up next morning fridge full of water from ice working fine before, new people using same hook up we've lost power? Fridge warm are we doing something wrong? Home now plugged in fridge fine
Nice little campsite. As a non caravan club member I stayed for a few nights in a tent. Everything is clean and maintained. Friendly site staff at check in/out. Would stay again. Well suited for cycling the south downs.
VERY UNFRIENDLY AND UNHELPFUL STAFF!! I was frankly shocked at the bad attitude of the staff at this site. I rejoined the club after a break of some 14 years. I had not noted the fact that the earliest time I was allowed to arrive on site was 12am. I mistakenly thought the staff would be understanding of this oversight on my part and be happy for me to wait in the new arrivals waiting area until they could check me in, but no, I was basically turned away!! I had driven for around two hours and am disabled. All I was hoping for was to be allowed to wait in the new arrivals waiting area until I could be checked in at 12am and to be able to use the toilet in the mean time, but this was NOT the case!! I was advised to leave the site. The staff member was basically rude, stating you will have a long wait, when all I asked was to wait until I could be checked in at the 12am check in time. I left the site and did not return, as I did not wish to return to a site where the staff were so very rude, unfriendly and unhelpful!! I now have a NO SHOW strike on my membership!! Even after complaining to the club about the way I was treated by the staff, I received a most unhelpful letter in return, from the club's regional manager, stating amongst other things that the toilets were closed for cleaning at that time, when in fact they were not. The letter too, was again proof of the total lack of understanding of my situation at that time. Their regional manager stated that it would not have been reasonable for the other 24 arrivals due that day to arrive early, but that totally misses the point about the way I was treated by the staff on site, and again demonstrates a total lack of understanding towards my situation at that time!! The club will not remove the NO SHOW strike from my membership, as I chose not to return to the site, but why on earth would I choose to return to a site where the staff were so very unhelpful and basically rude towards me??? All in all, I was treated in a totally unprofessional, unhelpful, uncaring and unfriendly manner and received very little in the way of apology, even by their regional manager!!! AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! BEST AVOIDED!!! I AM AWARDING THE CLUB A 'NO GO' STRIKE FOR THE MORN HILL SITE!!!
