We've been looking for our dream house for a few years. We love the area we live in and didn't want to leave. We set our hearts on a property only 2 streets away but we lost out on it. Over the past 2 years both myself and my husband have meet a lot of estate agents and you can sometime feel that a game is being played. From the get go you never felt this way with Craig. He is so honest, so up front with us that within a week get had found our dream home. He's quick on email, returns calls, funny and all round a really good guy...Just what you want when trying to find a new home! I can't thank Craig and the team at Romans, and when we next move I know I'll be going back to them! After trying 3 other agents, Romans finally got the right people through the door and within 5 weeks of going on the market we achieved our sale. Special mention should go to Craig! Would recommend them as one of the best agents in Winchester.
Very poor customer service, incredibly disappointed. We rented a property over 18 months and there were many problems including hot water being turned off in bathroom for 2 weeks, exposed fuses to lights in communal areas, carpet causing trip hazard on stairs - these problems were either not addressed at all or were very slow to be addressed . At the end of tenancy they insisted that minor scuff marks and chips should be taken out of our deposit - we felt this was totally unreasonable as in every other property I have rented over the past 15 years this would always be the responsibility of the landlord and would be considered normal wear and tear.
Craig and Alison have been AMAZING after being lied to on many occasions by another well known estate agent in Winchester Romans were a breathe of fresh air! Emails always answered even on weekends, nothing was too much trouble for them. Sale was quick and smooth. I would highly recommend them anytime! Been an absolute and easy process buying a house for the first time in the UK! Thank you guys
