Very friendly and efficient. Robin is a particularly lovely chap

As a company owner we have a fleet of 17 vehicles, one on which is a Volvo V40. At 3.5 years old with little more than 65k miles on the clock, the car started to overheat. It was taken to this garage (via a transporter) on the 22nd of November. The car is tracked and was not moved for over two weeks after its arrival. We were told in mid-December (after a call asking for over 1000 to take the cylinder head off) that a cylinder liner had failed and the car required a whole new engine. We were quoted around 9000 for the repair. I asked if there would be any goodwill from Volvo and after about 10 days, I was informed that Volvo would contribute 100% to the costs and then two days later because of a misunderstanding between Volvo and Snows that the contribution would in fact be only be 50%.We finally got the car back on the 14th of January (around 60 days later). They would not release the car until the 4700 bill was paid (the invoice was sent on a Friday afternoon and was expected to be paid first thing Monday morning)At no point during the whole process was any apology offered about times delays, or the fact no courtesy car could be offered. I constantly rang them asking for answers, most of the time not even being able to get through during the daytime as the phones were answered by answering machines asking to leave a message so they could get back to you (apparently they are busy) The major disappointment is with both Volvo brand and Snows, multiple emails were sent to both and the response was slow and never have i had a reasonable explanation as to why a whole new engine was required. To add insult to injury a day after the car was returned I received the email below from Snows:-"Dear Mr Pearce,Volvo Registration No **** ***Thank you for your recent visit to Snows Volvo. Wed like to follow up by ensuring that you are extremely satisfied with the service you have received. It is very important to the team here at Snows Volvo that your experience with us is outstanding. All of us, including our reception team, drivers, cleaners, and technicians, are dedicated to providing an unbeatable service.Customer feedback is a vital element in our endeavours to achieve this aim, and periodically Volvo will ask for direct feedback from you on the level of service we provide. This feedback will be in the form of an online survey, which will be used to create monthly reports about our service performance levels. The link to the online survey is sent directly to your email address. Should you be selected to offer customer feedback, we sincerely hope that your recent experience at Snows Volvo warrants the award of an extremely satisfied score. However, if you feel unable to complete the Volvo online survey favourably, we would very much like the opportunity to address the areas in which you feel we should improve. Please feel free to contact us at any time either by phone or email. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your valued custom. We look forward to being of service to you in the future."On top of that since the car has been in the garage, there seems to have been a lot of lacquer peel around the bonnet. It was never there before and pointed out when we picked up the car, this was also just dismissed. So a three and half year old car has had a new engine and now the paintwork is starting to look like a 10 year old car.... In my experience not great!

I recently purchased a used car from Too Good 2 Auction for my son and was absolutely delighted by the service we received. It was not a big purchase but I felt that the way we were looked after during the whole process, I would have no problem in recommending them to my friends and family. Keith Lovelace.

Bought a fantastic XC60 from Robin Watts last week and the whole experience was like no other! The whole dealership looked after my every need and even kept my children occupied so my wife and I could test drive and conclude our purchase! If you are looking for first class service do not hesitate in visiting Snows Volvo Winchester

Been a customer at Snows Winchester for a little bit more than 2 years. My experience of the service have been extremely poorly, almost non-existent. Over and over again we tried to give them a chance but in the end it just got too much. Never called back when promised, booked courtesy car when our car was on long service and MOT but always ended up with loads of misunderstandings. Also, crowded with staff but they were mostly busy chatting to each other. Very disappointing with a brand that supposed to be strong.
