Nice little museum, staff were helpful and friendly and told us the best way to walk around the museum. Lots of interesting history and facts about the local area and little activities to keep kids (and big kids) occupied and interested. The model is brilliant and the shop had lots of nice things to buy. Free to enter but there is a donation box as you go in/leave.
This is a really nice and interesting museum, unfortunately they have removed the old fashioned store fronts which was like a trip back to yesteryear. Due to a staff shortage only the lower level was open when we visited. We are local so this wasn't a problem. Would recommend a visit to anyone.
What a surprise. On the way to the Cathedral we popped in and it's wonderful. The model is a real eye opener and the rest of the museum a fantastic discovery. Don't miss it!!!
There isn't much to see as it was undergoing a restoration of one floor. Interesting Roman time facts about the town and its history and artefacts from that period. There is a disabled platform lift that goes to all three levels.
Small yet perfectly formed. Took a group of school children and the activities were great.
