Absolutely beautiful food first time here and couldn't fault it services was excellent and will 100% be coming back
I have been here over the years, but more recently it hasn't been as good as it once was. Service is slow, orders forgotten, food hit and miss. Its a good place to meet up if you're not in a hurry.
Have been here a dozen times for business meetings. Great food, super service, particularly lovely coffee. Go there, you won't regret it.
Lovely bar and restaurant in a great location at the bottom of Winchester. Decent selection of beers and friendly staff. One criticism - we ordered some chips to have with our drinks. 3.50 for a portion which amounted to about 5/6 chips in a little pot. Maybe it's because they were special 'triple cooked' chips but we were pretty taken aback. Even for Winchester, that was pushing it a bit far!
Nice modern pub and rooms only a short walk from the city center. Rooms are comfortable with on suit shower and tea & coffee provided (including coffee pot and grinds for an extra bonus for coffee lovers). Bar has all the usual selection of drinks including its own branded amber ale which was quite nice. Haven't tried the food but the menu looked good if a little pricy.Continental breakfast included with the room wasn't too bad and again, good coffee.
