We were seated immediately despite how busy they were. Recommend the delicious fish and chips. A lovely ambience. Will definitely go again.
Really nice, cosy pub. Went herd for an Xmas meal and the food was very good. Quite pricey though, 3.05 for a pint of coke doesn't encourage non-drinkers.
Nice pub in the centre of Winchester, limited selection of beers, good menu and quality. There must have been a problem with the kitchen on the day we went, as no food came out for the first 40 minutes. It was also quite chilly. Very dog friendly. Well worth a visit for lunch while shopping.
I went with a large group of friends to celebrate a friends graduation. We had a large table and all ordered separately, as you do it pubs, yet the food all came out one after the other, in ordering order. Delicious food and any issues were rectified really quickly ad professionally. Really friendly staff and helpful.
Lovely situated pub, very busy we sat outside as glorious weather. Staff seemed friendly, didn't eat but lots of food being served. Looked good enough, didn't hear anyone complaining. Lots of dogs also enjoying the weather. Had a band on. Definitely worth a visit, lovely old town.
