Love this place. Really nice and chilled

A self service wine bar that has a good selection of 32 bottles. You can get anything from a taste to a 175ml glass from the machines. The atmosphere is very relaxed and there are games to play. Bonus: we came in from the cold with our 2 month old for a drink and no one minded.

Really liked it! It's expensive, but roomy rather than having seats all crammed together, atmosphere was lively without being obnoxiously loud and the staff were friendly. Would definitely go again

A place with great potential and an innovative idea. Let down by its awkward atmosphere caused by the layout & design.I love the idea of this place, I want to like this place. But every time I've been, as a couple, with small groups, large groups - you name it. We've come away wanting. The reason, I believe is that while great in concept - having a layout of rooms just small enough to feel like you're sharing a living room with any other folks there (which of course leads groups to generally spread out around the place) and just large enough that you can never really 'fill' a room without it seeming empty and alone with any reasonable size group. Couple that with the fact every time I've gone there's not really been any background music or other atmosphere inducing things, it seems to narrowly miss a chance to be a cosy, yet bustling enjoyable place.

I'm not a wine drinker but this place was fun to visit and quite original. Load up a card with an amount and go make your way through one of the 5-8 (can't quite remember) different quirky little rooms. All wine is self serve, but beers, spirits and soft drinks are available downstairs at the bar. Just after the bridge, opposite the Bishop on the Bridge pub.
