Excellent as always. My favourite place in Winchester for coffee or lunch or dinner.Amazing wine list.
Not great today with 2 of the 3 meals below par and a mix up on the seating that could easily have been avoided. Rick Stein set the bar for service in Winchester in our experience and we fell well short of that today. The setting was very nice and the Roast dinner very good hence the rating for today.
All top drawer as expected. Fabulous breakfast. Super rooms. Needs to look at beers in bar though. Will definitely return as location is perfect for the town
Very helpful staff.. good help with parking. Lovely setting and outside seating area. Fairly expensive but good variety and quality. Excellent selection of drinks, wines and spirits, followed up with good advice and knowledge.
Wonderful Sunday lunch. Hadnt been for a few years so wasnt sure what to expect as Id heard last that the Henley on Thames branch was not very good a couple of years ago. But the experience we had here was wonderful! Friendly, efficient and personable service with a smile, just the right amount of attentiveness. Fabulous sommelier who really knows his stuff. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. The salmon from the market table was to die for! Arrive hungry.
