Nice place to eat or drink. Friendly staff and when ever i go there it never seems to busy so ideal if meeting friends as you can hear yourself think.

Stayed one night. Dinner, bed and breakfast. Arrived to find out that the kitchen was closed as they ran out of food. They gave me a discount on the room. The room was lovely, well appointed, only a snug room but plenty big enough.

Lovely pub. Turned up here out of the blue late one night after a bit of a problem which left me a bit disoriented. They helped me with local information and sorted me a room for the night. The staff were amazing. The rooms were really reasonably priced and very clean. The beers were excellent. I'm coming here again for few nights next time as you are right on the outskirts of the town and 2 mins from the station. Top marks.
